If you can't find the Unlink shortcut command, try finding 'Link' Under Keyboard Shortcuts / Clip / Link you can also type 'Link' in the search bar, then create a shortcut, ^^ like Command+L. This can function as unlinking the video and audio, but not relinking them. But you can always Cmd+Z, this shortcut is all you really need.

The days of exporting movie files back and forth from Premiere Pro to After Effects are over. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to work smarter (not harder!) by taking advantage of Adobe’s Dynamic Link tool. Now you can seamlessly move back and forth between Premiere and AE without all the hassles. A major timesaver for creating support graphics for your video projects!

Integrate After Effects Projects in Premiere Pro

In this example, we’ll be creating titles in After Effects that we want to integrate into a Premiere Pro project. Dynamic Link makes it possible to quickly bring in an After Effectscomposition into Premiere, as well as update changes made in AE to show up in Premiere throughout the editing process (very useful if you need to make changes to titles, fonts, etc). Let’s take a closer look…

In Premiere Pro select File > Dynamic Link > Create New After Effects Composition.

A “New After Effects Comp” dialog box opens with matching settings. Click OK, as you want the settings to match between Premiere Pro & After Effects (very important!)

After Effects opens with a “Save As” dialog. Name your project here. Name it something specific. As a general rule save it with your Premiere Pro projects for better organization.

Adobe Premiere Pro Commands

You now have an open After Effects Composition (equivalent to a Sequence in Premiere Pro).

Create your titles or lower thirds in After Effects and then use Command + Tab (Mac) or Alt + Tab (PC) to switch back to Premiere Pro (more on this great shortcut here).

The Dynamic Link Composition appears in your Premiere Pro project. Drag it to your Sequence on a track above your video.

Now because the AE composition was created using Adobe’s Dynamic Link, when you switch back to After Effects and make changes the changes will automatically update in Premiere Pro. Although the link updates without saving in After Effects, it’s always good to remember to save.

Now, let’s say you walk away for the day and close your projects down. The next time you sit down to edit how do you continue working with Dynamic Link? Easy…in Premiere Pro right-click on the Dynamic Link project and select “Edit in Original”.

This will open the After Effects project and you can continue working. Again, your changes will automatically be updating in Premiere Pro.

Much like Apple’s round-tripping feature from Motion to Final Cut Pro, Adobe’s Dynamic Link makes it easy to integrate (and modify) graphics in your video editing projects. Use Dynamic Link to make your Premiere to After Effects workflow more efficient!

Playback Shortcuts

These shortcuts allow you to quickly play back or skim through your media (whether you’re in the Source Monitor or on the Timeline). These are some of the most used shortcuts, so memorize them well and they’ll soon become your best friends!

J Play Backward (increase speed up to 6x when tapping repeatedly)

KStop Playback

LPlay Forward (increase speed up to 6x when tapping repeatedly)

Space Start/Stop Playback

Left/Right Arrow Step back/forward one frame

Timeline Shortcuts

+Zoom In – Zoom Out

Once your timeline starts filling up, it’s essential to be able to quickly navigate from one point to another. One way to do this is to zoom out and get an overview, move the playhead to the approximate desired location, and then zoom in to that area.

D Select Clip at Playhead

This will highlight and select the clip positioned under the playhead.

S Snap

When enabled, this feature makes it easier to automatically align or trim clips on the timeline.

Cmd + KAdd Edit

Quickly create an edit in the clip where the playhead is positioned.

Tool Shortcuts

VSelection Tool

Select and move items around on the timeline and adjust their length.

CRazor Tool

Splice a clip.

BRipple Edit Tool

When performing a ripple edit, all clips following the shortened or extended clip are automatically moved down the timeline.

ATrack Select Tool

Selects all clips to the right of the cursor so that you can quickly move your entire timeline around.

Other Useful Shortcuts

Cmd + D Apply Video Transition

Add a transition to an edit point. By default, this is set to Cross Dissolve (customizable).

Super mario maker iso cemu. Super Mario Maker for the Nintendo 3DS is well worth playing. It is very easy to make your own levels, you have a ton of pre made levels to enjoy and above all else, it is just a really fun game. The 3DS version is great I have played it on a New 2DS XL as well as an older 3DS and it is great on both devices. Cemu is an impressive Wii U emulator that's able to run all your Nintendo games on a PC with impressive quality levels and with the possibility to reach up to 4K resolution. In constant development, it's currently able to run a lot of games at 1080p/60fps, and with each new version, it increases its compatibility range.

` Maximize Selected Window

Useful when you quickly want to enlarge one of the Premiere windows (Project, Monitor, Timeline).

Cmd + ` Toggle Full Screen

View your media in full screen.

Cmd + LUnlink Video/Audio

When video has audio attached to it, use this shortcut to unlink the two.

Opt + DeleteRipple Delete

When ripple deleting a clip or a gap, Premiere automatically slides the items behind it.

Tip: Customize these shortcuts by opening the Keyboard Shortcuts window (using Cmd + Opt + K).
